Family: Family-friendly fare is back tonight with The (Very) Big Laugh Out at Federation Square, and it’s all free. MCs Kiki & Pascal host Tony Roberts, Sharon from Canada, The Listies, The Strong Lady, and the Butterfly Glee Club. The show starts 5pm at the Fed Square stage.
Spicks and Specks host Josh Earl makes one of his only appearance of the festival tonight at variety show Rose Callaghan and Friends, 6pm tonight at the Duke of Wellington Hotel in the City. Tickets from TryBooking or on the door.
Cinema Fiasco makes it’s festival return to Carlton’s Cinema Nova. Janet A McLeod and Geoff Wallis will provide a live commentary of awful horror film Troll 2. 7.30pm tonight, tickets from the Cinema Nova website or at the venue.
Nova’s ROFL Room will make it’s return to the festival tomorrow night. The invite only event will feature Tommy Little, Rose Callaghan, Jonathan Schuster, and Rose Callaghan plus many more this Saturday night at Trades Hall. Listen to Nova 100 or check out Nova 100’s website to win tickets.
Pop-Ups: Comedy karaoke showcase Kara-Jokey! takes place at 10.45pm tonight at Bella Union at Trades Hall. Tickets from bellaunion.com.au or at the door.
Late Night: It’s a Comedy Bonanza at The Festival Club tonight, 11.30pm at The Hi-Fi. The Late Night Board Game Slumber Party hosts Reddit Night with Redditors Simon Keck, and Pajama Party‘s Nicholas J Johnson and Sarah Jones. 10:45pm at Games Laboratory.
