We are only into the second weekend of the festival, but a lot of extra shows, time and venue moves, and cancellations have been announced. Set List makes its festival return this evening. The stand-up show forces comics to throw out their existing material, riffing off suggestions displayed on a projector behind the stage. The (very) Big Laugh Out is back with a big Friday edition at the City and Federation Squares. Today at the City Square Pitch: Sivouplait at 12.30pm, Sharon from Canada at 1.30pm, and Justin Sane at 3pm. Then at 5pm Becky Hoops hosts the big show at Federation Square with SivouplaitOng-als in Babbling ComedySharon from Canada, and The Chipolatas. Entry is free.

Cinema Fiasco is back tonight at Carlton’s Cinema Nova. Janet A McLeod and Geoff Wallis will provide a live commentary of film Beyond The Door. 7.30pm tonight, tickets from the Cinema Nova website or at the venue.

Pop-Ups: A special edition of Erotic Fan Fiction takes place at the Wheeler Centre tonight. The show will feature comedians Genevieve FrickerMichael Hing and Kate McLennan plus Eddie Sharp and Virginia Gay. 7.30pm tonight  – the event is booked out but limited tickets may be available on the door.

Also announced: A live recording of  Something for the Drive Home. Catch Bart Freebairn and Nick Cody‘s podcast on Sunday April 20, 3pm at Five Boroughs Bar in the city. Tickets from TryBooking.

Late NightThe Festival Club is in Comedy Up Late mode again for ABC2. 11.15pm at The Hi-Fi. Lisa-Skye has Wizard Sandwiches at her Lovely Tea Party, 10.45pm at the Tuxedo Cat. Liam RyanGirls Uninterrupted and a special guest appear at Victoria Healy’s We Heart Comedy, 10.15pm at the Imperial Hotel. Other late night shows include Soul BankJames McCannHeath Franklin’s Chopper and The Late Night Board Game Slumber Party.
