Metallica have officially announced the 2025 Australia and New Zealand leg of their record-breaking M72 World Tour.
The tour will see Metallica perform in stadiums across Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, and Auckland throughout November. Known for their unique in-the-round stage design and the iconic Snake Pit, the tour promises an immersive experience for fans, including a range of Enhanced Experiences, meet and greets, production tours, and exclusive early entry options.
Supporting Metallica on this leg will be Evanescence and Suicidal Tendencies. Fans can also opt for the popular I Disappear Ticket, which grants access to all six shows in Australia and New Zealand, alongside travel packages available in select cities.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public starting Monday, November 4, at 12 PM local time, with fan club presales beginning October 29. Various presales, including those for Vodafone, CommBank Yello Mastercard, and One NZ customers, will offer early access starting on October 30.
M72, which kicked off in April 2023, has been met with critical acclaim. Described as life-affirming by Billboard and a stone-cold stunner by the Detroit News, the tour has drawn more than three million fans worldwide.
As with all Metallica tours, a portion of the proceeds will go to local charities through the band’s All Within My Hands foundation. Established in 2017, the foundation has raised over $15 million USD to support education, food insecurity, and disaster relief initiatives.
