Back with a bang in the wake of their last single Stone Bone, Matate was mixed by King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s Stu McKenzie and recorded by Nao Anzai of No Zu. Their latest cut sits in the middle of gang chant anthems and Chicano noise rock.
Along with the track comes a glimpse of their hectic live show, with a matching clip capturing all of the mayhem that Mesa Cosa are known for.
