The 33rd Meredith Music Festival has officially announced it's ticket ballot is open ahead of its December dates.
Meredith Music Festival returns to the Supernatural Amphitheatre for its 33rd year. It’s time to sign up for the ticket ballot and keep an eye out for that juicy lineup.
The annual event maintains its unique character with the same format and venue that has defined the festival for over three decades.
The majority of tickets become available through the subscriber ticket ballot each year. This system offers the best opportunity for festival-goers to secure their spot at one of Australia’s most distinctive music events.

The history of Meredith
For your remembering pleasure, a few of the nieces and nephews have put together an abridged history of Meredith.
“The Meredith Music Festival started in 1991 as a party for about 200 people. For context, back then, you could catch a plane without showing your ID, and cheese sticks were sold and consumed widely.
“The nineties hadn’t yet come back into fashion, and people would drive without a GPS. Feels like a lifetime ago, because it was.”
“It’s now a little vaster, a bit deeper, there’s more pageantry than in its infancy. It’s been an experiment in propagation. What was planted one year harvested the next. The spirit of ‘91 preserved and evolved, an epigenetic mutation that’s retained the original strain of DNA.
“This history is certainly not the complete history. It’s just some things remembered, mismembered, and documented in some way on the backup hard drive. Of course, like anything from the past that remains vital, it’s the bits not captured that are generally the more captivating. Think of this as an appetiser for whenever you get a little hungry for more Meredith.”

The festival operates on a straightforward ticketing model. One ticket type provides access to all three days, including camping and parking. The event maintains its BYO policy and upholds the famous No Dickhead Policy.
Festival organisers encourage early ballot entry. The simple online process requires registration through the official website before the deadline. Late entries cannot be accepted after the 10:33pm cut-off time.
Online sales follow the ballot process for any remaining tickets. The festival occasionally releases additional tickets through Aunty’s Ticket Resale Service during November. A limited number of last-chance tickets may become available closer to the event date.
Meredith Music Festival supports regional organisations through ticket sales. Each purchase contributes to local community projects in the district.
The event features traditional elements that truly define the Meredith experience. Attendees can expect the Ecoplex, SportsField, Tai Chi sessions, Gift Lap, Big Wheel, Tucker Tent, Sunset activities, Brass Band performances, Pink Drink, and Sky Show.
