Rod Laver Arena was ranked #30 in the list of Top 200 arenas in the world after selling 289, 924 tickets in the period. It lead over Perth Arena (#33), Sydney’s Allphone Arena (#51) and Qantas Credit Union Arena (#56) and Brisbane Entertainment Centre (#61).
Etihad Stadium was the most successful in the Top 100 Outdoor/ Festival Sites, making it to #23 for ticket sales of 116,234. It was in front of Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm Byron Bay (#30), Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium (#52) and, from Sydney, Allianz Stadium at #63 and ANZ Stadium at #80.
There were only three Australian entries in the Top 100 Club Venues rankings, two of them from Melbourne. The Corner Hotel in Richmond was at #14 after drawing 87, 780 punters during the relevant period while Northcote Social Club was at #93 with 28, 648 attendees. Its sister venue in Sydney, Newtown Social Club, was at #94 with 27, 209.
The sole Australian ranking in the Top 100 Theatres was from Melbourne. The Palais in St. Kilda was judged the 27th most successful after shifting 136,195 tickets.
