Revered director Alfred Hitchcock worked with US composer Bernard Herrmann on eight of his films. For Hitchcock & Herrmann, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will feature seven of these.
Hitchcock & Herrmann will feature music, images and footage from Vertigo, The Trouble with Harry, North By Northwest, Marnie, The Man Who Knew Too Much, The Wrong Man and of course, Psycho, all played by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and the MSO Chorus.
