This event is part of the 2021 Melbourne Music Week.
We’ve teamed up with Mistletone to bring some of the best garage and post-punk going ’round to the MMW Club.
Launching their latest single, PINCH POINTS play clean, angular guitar harmonies and heavy, mechanical riffs, belting-out group vocals, all at a turbo-punk speed. Back on the MMW stage is CLAMM, who create powerful music that touches on anti-violence, materialism, mental health, and the state of modern Australia. Their live shows are a culmination of simmering tension – scuzzy guitars, driving rhythms, and vocals tinged with brazen energy.
On the support tip is Delivery, a new group made up of five familiar faces from the Melbourne music scene. The act blurs together urgent garage-rock, nervy post-punk, and weirdo new-wave smarts. As well as Zig Zag – half garage rock extremists, half disco junkie night cats, swinging these contradictions in the air, careless and free and flaming with pride.
Aboriginal peoples are invited to receive free tickets to this event, in recognition of sovereignty. For more information, email here.
