Anyma to present Genesys live in Melbourne for ALWAYS LIVE 2024, with the largest screen in the southern hemisphere.
ALWAYS LIVE, in partnership with Untitled Group, will bring the genre-defining Anyma to Melbourne/Naarm for the first time, with an exclusive performance of Anyma presents Genesys on Saturday, 23 November, at Flemington Racecourse.
In a Victorian exclusive, Anyma, the solo project of Matteo Milleri, will bring his groundbreaking live production, Genesys, to Melbourne. This follows his critically acclaimed debut albums Genesys (2023) and Genesys II (2024), as well as a historic six-show sold-out residency at Sphere, Las Vegas. Known for his unique blend of mesmerising visual installations, avant-garde sound engineering, and awe-inspiring stage designs, Anyma has cemented his reputation as a pioneering visionary in the music industry.
The Flemington Racecourse event will feature the largest screen in the Southern Hemisphere, built specifically for the occasion, promising an unforgettable experience that combines music and mind-blowing visual art.

Supported by the Victorian government through Visit Victoria, ALWAYS LIVE’s curated program will continue to champion the state’s live music ecosystem, reinforcing Victoria’s reputation as Australia’s live music capital. The first announcement reveals a lineup featuring over 289 artists, including 208 from Victoria, performing in more than 65 events across the state, with 35% of the program set in regional Victoria.
Marking its third year, ALWAYS LIVE is set to return in 2024 with a 17-day statewide celebration of contemporary live music from 22 November to 8 December. This year’s program will span the entire state, with events from Gippsland to Geelong, and Ballarat to Bendigo, featuring a diverse array of free and low-cost events. The program will highlight grassroots and regional venues, hosting one-off shows, underplays, podcasts, conversations, and workshops.
