Since it was first established following the closure of Carlton’s legendary Pram Factory in 1982, the Melbourne Fringe Festival has presented the work of over 50,000 independent artists to audiences in the millions across Melbourne and Victoria. Over 4,000 artists from Victoria’s diverse independent arts scene will showcase new works in over 120 venues across Melbourne and Victoria in this gigantic open-access event, offering audiences the unique opportunity to connect with some of the smartest, newest and most inspirational work coming out of Victoria’s thriving artistic community.
