Meg Mac announces Melbourne show in support of ‘Low Blows’

Low Blows comes after the release of her keenly anticipated new single of the same name. Incredibly profound in its narrative, her debut album is underlined by a relatively simple recording approach. The primary focus of the record lies within her vocals while also uncovering dynamic rhythm sections and deeper piano exploration.

The album was recorded at the Niles City Sound Studio in Fort Worth, Texas where Leon Bridges put together his album Coming Home. After meeting Bridges on the road, Mac wanted to check out the studio. It was the perfect recording environment, so she booked in to record LP number one straight away.
