The ultimate festival for food and beer lovers, Brewers Feast is bringing the best of Australian craft beer to Melbourne paired with some of the state’s finest culinary treats.
More than just a food or beer or beer festival, what sets this event apart from the pack is how the two interact together. In other words, pairing is paramount – with the world-class beer and wine converging with the flavours of food for a memorable tasting experience.
As for what’s on offer, over 80 beers from acclaimed breweries including Stockade Brew Co, Prickly Moses, Stone & Wood, Pirate Life, Mornington Peninsula Brewery, and more will be showcasing their creations, as well as 12 festival-exclusive beers.
“We’re looking at sessional, drinkable beers that offer a beer experience for seasoned craft beer lovers or first timers alike,” said festival co-founder Tyson McGeoch. “We feel exploring food paired with beer and wine enhances the flavours and taste to create a memorable experience.”
The curated list of food stalls have been hand selected to match perfectly with beer and wine, including smoked meats from Fancy Hanks, gourmet Mac n Cheese, arancini balls, wood fired pizza, speciality doughnuts, and numerous more options to keep you going from start to finish.
Capping it off comes live music with chart-topping acts and local legends with sets from Shiva and the Hazards, Neighbourhood Youth, Ben Whiting and Mango Retreat.
There’ll also be beer education sessions, workshops, and a degustation dinner that’ll see six courses ranging from BBQ octopus and pulled pork to panna cotta and dark chocolate paired with a specific craft beer that brings out the flavours in each dish.
