What do you do when your sun burns out? Rebuild your life in darkness.
Mariam Benjemaa is a multi-disciplinary artist, musician and designer who resides in Naarm, Australia. Practising in mediums such as collage, painting and digital illustration, Mariam creates artwork that reflects their mood and emotions, often taking inspiration from music and the atmosphere it evokes. A visual portrayal of grief and loss, “When the sun burns out” explores the process of coping with death, heartbreak and the emptiness that it leaves behind.
