Having made waves in the music industry in recent years, Mallrat aka Grace Shaw hails from Brisbane, Australia. Having first gained attention with her hit 2016 single Uninvited, she has since released multiple EPs and singles, showcasing her unique style that blends indie pop and hip-hop.

Mallrat’s relatable and introspective lyrics have earned her a dedicated fanbase, and her music has been praised for its catchy hooks and dreamy melodies. She is known for her energetic live performances and her audience engagement throughout her performances.

We said of her EP In The Sky: “Mallrat’s songs are dripping in teenage nostalgia – which makes sense considering she’s only 19 – and there’s definitely more of a dream girl vibe to this EP.”

“It’s easy to get lost in the sweetness of the music without paying much attention to the lyrics, but they really are worth a closer listen, and provide an insight into the banalities of suburban teenage life.”
