A weekend in the bush.

Maitreya, the music, arts and camping festival held annually over four days in rural Victoria, is returning in 2011 for it’s 5th rendezvous in the bush.

The event has been held four times in different areas of the state over the Labour Day Long Weekend in March each summer. It boasts a weekend escape for city dwellers to camp out with friends under the stars, an international electronic music line up, a dedicated local live music stage, an international design and installation artists building stages and art pieces specially for the event, and a mind body spirit village, with a full program over four days with renowned speakers and teachers from across Australia. In 2011 it returns bigger and better with a line up boasting a host of international acts, including Caballero, Cosmosis, Vaishiyas, Zen Mechanics, Neelix and a whole lot more!

Maitreya 2011 takes place in the Pyrenees Ranges from Friday March 11 until Monday March 14. For more information, visit the website.
