Editor’s Note
Usually I like to use this space to give you a little inside info on what to expect in the magazine – and I promise if you flick through these pages, you’re going to find some cracking stories – but this week I wanted to have a chat with you. Last week, absolute legends Camp Cope dropped a track that can only be described using five fire emojis. And in the same vein that Sigrid’s ‘Don’t Kill My Vibe’ gets me pumped up to be my number one best self, ‘The Opener’ is my new go-to anthem.
So this is one big ol’ shout out to all the women in the music industry – and any male dominated industry for that matter – who feel like they have to do double the work to be half as recognised – we see you, we hear you and we bloody appreciate you.
PS- if anyone has any other absolute anthems that they recommend for self-pep, send em my way. This gal loves a belter.
