Macklemore released his debut record, The Heist, in early October to critical and commercial acclaim, with an excellent review in popular rap publication XXL complemented by the record reaching number 1 on iTunes in the US and number 1 on the Australian iTunes Hip Hop/Rap Charts. Macklemore will be accompanied by producer Ryan Lewis, who he teamed up with in October 2010 to create the VS. Redux EP.
