Dark and dramatic imagery combined with the sheer energy and originality of Nick Cave and his bandmates makes this film and interview pretty captivating. But is there anything Cave can’t do, really?
Cave talks about how Grinderman make songs out of a ‘sea of bullshit’ that comes after five straight days of jamming, and describes different ideas and processes the band go through to put together a video clip for their singles.
The short film also features my personal favourite line in a Grinderman song: ‘Tippy toe, tippy toe, tippy toe’. Love it.
