Lost Paradise drops a stacked lineup for 2018’s sustainable boog

After a massive 2017 that saw the likes of Client Liaison, Cigarettes After Sex and San Cisco rock the stage into the new year, Lost Paradise has finally dropped its 2018 lineup. The four-day boog with kick off on December 28 at GlenworthValley, NSW, and boy… it’s a big’un.

2018’s musical acts include The Kooks – AKA the group that soundtracked most millennials’ awkward teen years – and Tash Sultana, alongside rap prodigy Joey Bada$$, British staple M.I.A, Aussie disco trio PNAU, indie-pop marvel Vera Blue, and Brisbane rock five-piece Ball Park Music. The list goes on and on, but it just gets better and better.

As for the alternative cultural aspects of LP, there’s not a lot you can’t do. Hitch a ride on an hand-built art car, visit the theme camps, and watch performances by aerial artists and roving performers. If you’re also on a quest to realign your centre, you’ll find talks, workshops and classes at the Shambhala Fields oasis covering topics including neuroscience, medicinal mushrooms, urban farming, and veganism.

Don’t stress about what to do with the mini-mes; Kid’s Paradise has a program chockers with face-painting, disco, bouncing castles, comedians and old-fashioned games.

Lost Paradise is an immersive festival experience held over New Year’s, and has five years of rich history; however, the true history lies in the ancient land of Glenworth Valley known to Indigenous elders as ‘Paradise Lost’. With respect to the Indigenous peoples and the Australian environment, the LP team is committed to a hosting a fully sustainable event; there will be no single-use plastic bottles, and the Earth Warriors crew will be out in full force. Be careful; they’ll whip you into shape and get you cleaning up the campsite before you can laugh at their comedic and earth-conscious theatricals.

If you want to close your 2018 and kick off your 2019 with a kaleidoscope of experiences, grab yourself a ticket to Lost Paradise 2018 and catch some of the biggest names on the music scene while reconnecting with your inner self.
