Trainscendence and City of Yarra launch a new winter festival which pauses technology for 24 hours…
This is a 2-day mini-festival with a storyline. Come for homegrown bands, DJs, craftspeople, visual artists and performers. Look deeper to learn the secret story.
Act One: Saturday evening is a kaleidoscope of tech. Innovative bands, digital music-mixers, alluring lights, projection art and a silent disco. Whispers of Spectacle Society, a group in development of some modern-day magic.
Act Two: A mysterious midnight ritual shall bathe the venue in a moment of softness, the Society inviting all to cast a spell which pauses tech for a day.
Act Three: The Sunday turns its hands towards handicrafts. A day of market stalls, nature-based workshops and acoustic acts. A final word from the Spectacle Society, whose member base may well have grown in number.
Join us for a three-part journey, amidst the dead of winter.
