Liz Stringer brings her critically acclaimed seventh album The Second High to 17 Australian venues.
The London-based Australian artist has announced the To Survive Tour, presented by Double J, beginning in October to support her latest studio release. The comprehensive national tour will also raise awareness and funds for Australia’s housing crisis in partnership with Wombat Housing Support Services.
Liz Stringer will perform across the country from 31 October to 13 December, combining her musical storytelling with social advocacy. Audiences at each show will have the opportunity to donate to local community support organisations through QR codes, with the artist also contributing personally to the cause.

The tour follows the release of The Second High via Dot Dash Recordings earlier this year, marking another chapter in the venerated songwriter’s advocacy for social equity. The album’s title track To Survive documents the real-life story of a Wombat staff member, telling the compelling tale of a young man’s struggle growing up on Melbourne’s streets.
Stringer’s commitment to addressing Australia’s housing crisis stems from years of touring and witnessing growing wealth disparity across the country. Her involvement with Wombat began after a successful fundraising show at Melbourne’s Thornbury Theatre in late 2021, demonstrating her long-term dedication to supporting vulnerable communities.
The tour kicks off in Alice Springs on 31 October before moving through Katherine, Darwin, Perth and Adelaide in the first week of November. Melbourne shows include performances at M.O.T.H at Flinders Civic Hall on 7 November and an all-ages show at Theatre Royal on 11 November.
Regional venues feature prominently in the tour, with stops at Anglesea Memorial Hall, Bowraville Theatre and Meeniyan Town Hall showcasing Stringer’s commitment to reaching diverse Australian communities. The tour concludes with a performance at Meeniyan Town Hall on 13 December.
The To Survive Tour represents both a celebration of one of Stringer’s most triumphant albums and a platform for meaningful social change, combining her musical prowess with community support initiatives.
