The US melodic hardcore outfit have become masters of the mind games, teasing just a few days ago that something would arrive on April 20 aka 4/20. Speculation surrounded whether it would be a new album given the trippy morse code lure secretly exposing potential titles of 11 tracks, nevertheless, the mumbo jumbo has paved way for the release of The Violence.
Coinciding with the new track comes the revelation of the band’s eighth studio LP Wolves. The album has a definitive concept surrounding social injustice in today’s world. Behind the release, Rise Against are endeavouring towards a safe world where misogyny, xenophobia and the like is stifled.
