The musical preacher, otherwise known as Josh Tillman, has been amping the hype for his third album following 2015’s praised I Love You, Honeybear, with an additional two singles that came out last week: Pure Comedy and Two Wildly Different Perspectives.
New track Ballad of the Dying Man follows in its predeccessors’ political footsteps, chronicling the death of a narcissist who thinks the world revolves around his social commentary.
The album which it’s on, Pure Comedy, also comes with a 30 minute film documenting the behind-the-scenes of the creative process.
