After a great reception at the AFL Grand Final this year, Lionel Richie is gearing up to bring his show back to Australia and New Zealand in March 2011.

After a great reception at the AFL Grand Final this year, Lionel Richie is gearing up to bring his show back to Australia and New Zealand in March 2011.

In the last 40 years, Lionel has done some amazing things with music. Dancing on the Ceiling, Hello, Endless Love, All Night Long and Penny Lover come to mind when hearing the artist’s name, but he also had funk phase in the 1970s, when he was part of The Commodores.

Becoming a solo performer in the ‘80s skyrocketed Richie to fame, a place he has stayed eversince. He toured Australia in 2007 for the first time in 20 years and is keen to bring his talent back to the true blue Aussie fans.

Special guest will be Australian Idol/X Factor guru Guy Sebastian. He will join Richie at Rod Laver Arena and Rochford Wines, Yarra Valley for a Day On The Green April 2.
