After a mysterious website appeared all but confirming Download Festival’s Melbourne debut, it looks like the first headliners have been leaked.
Speaking in an interview with NME, Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland let slip some of the juicy details.
“I think Bizkit and Korn are doing Australia in March, and we’ll be doing a bunch of summer stuff.”
Of course, it could be a big ol’ coincidence. But it’s looking like a pretty solid bet to us, with both bands being hot favourites to lead Download’s inaugural Australian event.
Download Festival is one of the largest heavy music events in the world, and is tipped to have some absolutely huge headliners making their way to Australia for the event. In 2017, the UK edition was helmed by Rammstein, Black Sabbath, Korn and Iron Maiden.
Safe to say, we’re pretty keen.
