Lido offers a program that celebrates local filmmaking and independent and arthouse releases as well as being the local home for upmarket commercial films.
In their first year they have hosted Q&A sessions with filmmakers behind films including The Dressmaker, Oddball, and Pawno, held red carpet premieres for Nowhere Boys: The Book of Shadows, Last Cab to Darwin and Is This The Real World, and unveiled their open air cinema.
To celebrate their birthday, all sessions of all films right throughout the day will set you back just $7, with $4 food and drink items.
