The Myth Behind The Riff will be moderated by Short.Fast.Loud radio host Stu Harvey, who launched the punk/metal/hardcore program in 2004 and will bring together a host of speakers from every corner of the scene including King Parrot’s Matt Young, Heaven the Axe’s Phoebe Pinnock, Soundwave Festival General Manager Chris O’Brien, Destroy All Lines National Event Manager Cael Johnston, The Bendigo Hotel’s Guy Palermo and lawyer Andrew Fuller.
Topics will cover everything including getting a gig, making the right contacts, what Soundwave Festival is looking for in a local band, getting airplay, streaming, sponsorships, social media, artwork, media coverage and touring overseas.
