Kutcha Edwards, Coloured Stone, No Fixed Address, Yamba, Maylene Yinar, David Arden, Monica McDonald and many more feature in a massive lineup for Share the Spirit at Sidney Myer Music Bowl on January 26, 2024.

The event is curated by First Nations owned and operated music organisation Songlines and CEO Robbie Bundle is hoping that ‘Continuum into Tomorrow’ will provide a moment for all to stand in solidarity with the oldest continuing civilisation in the world.

“The Continuum of Share the Spirit is vitally important for all First Nations People to come together to Heal with Peace and Love. Our Hope for 2024 Share the Spirit is to engage with reciprocity and exchange mutual respect for all,” said Robbie Bundle.

“Continuum into Tomorrow became a theme that celebrates the oldest living Continuum on the planet.

“Share the Spirit represents a shared celebration of Survival that strengthens our Creation Songlines, and those that have attended Share the Spirit from all Cultures collectively, have created and shared their own experiences to walk alongside First Nations People,” said Bundle.

The initiative was created in 2003 and has been growing stronger each year. The community-based festival is an important gathering for local and regional communities but welcomes all to join in respect of the survival of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

Legendary acts performing include Coloured Stone, No Fixed Address & Blackfire with performances from contemporary artists, David Arden, Kutcha Edwards, Deniece Hudson, Stray Blacks, Robbie Bundle, Yambra, Richard Frankland, Brian Morley, Yung Warriors and Deans of Soul.

A brilliant showcase of Indigenous women will be performing including Madi Colville-Walker, Maylene Yinar Slater, Canisha, Monica McDonald, Naretha Williams, Carissa Nyalu, Leonie Whyman & Charlie Woods.

The Djiiri Djirri Dancers will be there to perform along with the kids from Yappera for a special performance. There will be food stalls and merchandise on site. Share the Spirit is a FREE event non-ticketed family-friendly event that is drug and alcohol free.

Gates open 11:30am, with the event running from 1pm into the night. As with every Songlines event, all people are invited to attend, and a safe space is offered for all.
