KT Tunstall announces 20th anniversary shows across Australia

Words by staff writer

The Scottish singer-songwriter is heading back to Australia and New Zealand in May 2026 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her breakthrough debut album.

KT Tunstall will perform Eye To The Telescope in its entirety across seven shows, giving fans the chance to experience the full record live.

The album originally dropped in December 2004 and became a global phenomenon, spawning massive hits like Black Horse and the Cherry Tree and Suddenly I See. The latter track became particularly iconic after featuring in the opening scene of The Devil Wears Prada, earning Tunstall an Ivor Novello Award in the process.

This tour follows Tunstall’s recent Australian visit in May this year, where she supported Train in a stripped-back duo format. The 2026 shows will see her return with a full band setup, bringing the complete Eye To The Telescope experience to venues across both countries.

The album achieved five-times platinum status and remains a landmark release in British music from the 2000s. Tunstall’s live performances are known for their energy, incorporating loop pedals and powerful vocals that create an intimate connection with audiences.

Early bird presale tickets go on sale 30 September at 10am local time, with general public tickets available from 2 October at 10am local time.
