Showcasing the best of Korean culture through film, Korean Film Festival in Australia is back for its ninth year running, bringing with it a huge selection of recently released films across a range of genres.

Presented by the Korean Cultural Centre Australia, KOFFIA offers everything from Korean blockbusters to independent art-house films, showcasing the cinematic works of Korea’s thriving Hallyuwood film industry.

The program ranges from films like A Taxi Driver, following the tale of a taxi driver transporting a German journalist into the heart of a political uprising; Forgotten, a violent thriller depicting a man searching for clues of his brother’s disappearance after he returns with no memory of what happened; and Midnight Runners, a comedy featuring two friends at Police University who launch their own investigation after witnessing a kidnapping.

KOFFIA will hit cinemas in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne across August and September.
