Koorie Krismas is back, bringing holiday cheer to Fed Square on Saturday, 14 December 2024, from 10am to 3pm.
This annual celebration will see the return of Koorie Klaus, ready to spread festive joy in a day packed with free family-friendly activities, live performances, workshops, and a vibrant First Peoples market.

A highlight of the event, the First Peoples market will showcase a diverse selection of talented Indigenous artists and creators, offering unique gifts for Krismas shopping. Featured vendors include Clothing The Gaps, Haus of Dizzy & Haus of Ziggy Lee, Ilan Style, Kevin Williams, Kinya Lerrk Pty Ltd, Mabu Mabu, Mana Dreaming, Marbeangrook Designs, N’Dene Riley, Wiimpatja Nhuungku Designs, Wunyun, Yulaa-li, and more to be announced.
Attendees can dive into creative activities with free workshops, including wreath-making using Indigenous flora led by Thelma Austin and custom Krismas Kard design and badge-making fun by ENOKi.
The event will be hosted by Lady Lash, with performances on the Fed Square stage from the Djirri Djirri Dancers, the Pirritu Duo, and storyteller and poet Barry Gilson. DJ sets will feature ENOKiCurry, Randals Dad, DJ PGZ, and Cerulean, alongside dance performances by the Ngargee Dancers and others.
Koorie Krismas is presented by the Koorie Heritage Trust with the support of the City of Melbourne, Fed Square, and partners Viva Energy Australia, Krystyna Campbell-Pretty and Family, and The Orloff Family Charitable Trust.
