Formed in Hobart in 2015 Knife Hands exploded onto the scene with a bright blend of progressive punk hardcore soaked with hard edged melodies and razor sharp guitar work. This sound was carved into their opening short-form release (The Doomsday Book, 2016) and spilled across the nations stages in the raw riotous energy of sing-along punk rock.
The final form of long time friends and bandmates from numerous Tasmanian based projects (Including Stand Defiant, Ride the Tiger & Ballpoint), Knife Hands is a distillation of punk and hardcore music from the southern tip of the world. Their fast paced and powerful sound is delivered fully formed and sonically animated on the 11 tracks of their Debut LP, Milestones.
Released as a DIY limited run of LPs and on streaming platforms worldwide, the album has gone on to garner tens of thousands of plays as well as critical acclaim within the punk hardcore community in Australia and around the world.
Touring throughout October, Knife Hands will return to stages in Tasmania and Victoria with new music and their uncompromisingly energetic live show.
