Kitty Rae

If you haven’t heard of Kitty Rae, now is the time to stop and listen.
From growing up in rural Victoria to selling out The Workers Club in under 8 hours late last year, Kitty has proven herself to be a rising star in the Australian music industry.

The pink-haired, dark electro-pop artist is creating a reputation for her pumped-up, energetic live shows, with her music gaining comparisons to Halsey, Lorde & Billie Eilish. Kitty Rae captivates audiences with her powerful vocals, driven rhythms, and her love of a spectacle.

After beginning to pursue her original music in 2020, 2021 saw Kitty win both the Electronic Category and the People’s Choice Award in the nationwide Campus Music Song Competition for her song Red Lights. She came 2nd in the Monash University Popular Songwriting Prize, and was a featured artist at the 2021 Indie Music Summit.

And 2022? Well… this new EP is just the beginning.
Don’t miss this one-night-only performance by Kitty Rae at The Gaso, supported by two extremely talented singer/songwriters, JXCKY and Mia Pisano.

Blending together notorious moments with a rock and trap flare – Melbourne-based, Chinese-Cambodian queer artist JXCKY generates anti-pop chaos with an unapologetic explosion of attitude and hyperbole.

Mia Pisano is a folk singer and songwriter from Naarm (Melbourne). Her original songs pay homage to the women of Nashville and homegrown artists like Missy Higgins and Kate-Miller Heidke. Mia’s modern take on country-folk is both charming & heartbreaking, as she salutes love, loss, and youth through song.
