He was working as producer of Kiss FM’s The Pash and also ran his own events, marketing and PR company Stalker, which he set up in 2008. He also managed DJ Jody Mcleod and singer songwriter Chris Ah Gee .

Arnott spent his time between his hometown Cairns and Melbourne. He began his love affair with radio in Cairns at 15, as an intern and promotions assistant at Hot FM and Sea FM. He also worked as events manager at Cairns nightclubs and on the editorial team at CityLife magazine.

After studying at RMIT in Melbourne, he worked for various companies including dmg radio and Grant Broadcasters, including Nova 100 Melbourne.

His long time friend and colleague Sarah Maree Cameron, in an Instagram post, described him as “someone who was just a ball of energy looking for fun and leaving smiles on peoples faces wherever (he) went.”
