A huge dance party is coming to Prahran next month.

A brand-new one-day live music event is coming to Prahran Square in March, bringing a diverse lineup of contemporary acts to the stage.

Titled Global Rhythms, the event looks to showcase a range of boundary-pushing acts while delivering a smorgasbord of beats and sonic flavours.

Multi-disciplinary performer and alt-pop powerhouse Kira Puru will lead the lineup alongside hip hop heavyweights REMI, ensuring the dancefloor will be packed full of groovers.

Joining the huge double-whammy of the two headliners comes hip hop visionary, poet and storyteller ALPHAMAMA and local DJ and beat-master Soju Gang. So you can guarantee there won’t be a dull moment.

As well as a tasty spread of live music and DJs, Global Rhythms will also highlight local bites through a huge offering of eats ranging from picnics bites and nibbles to laidback lunch options and high-end meals.

Featuring artists who frequent stages at some of Australia’s most highly-acclaimed music festivals, Global Rhythms is your chance to catch them for the low, low price of $0.

Don’t miss it.

Global Rhythms is happening on Saturday March 14 at Prahran Square. It’s free, find out more here
