It’s been four years since their last album.
Kings of Leon have come out of the woodwork to bring us a new track. Titled ‘Going Nowhere’, the acoustic number is the first release we’ve seen from the band since they dropped their seventh studio album WALLS in 2016.
The track comes hand in hand with a film clip which features the band’s frontman Caleb Followill performing the track live, filmed in Nashville. The release was also accompanied by a message from Kings of Leon, telling fans to “Stay safe. Stay home. We will see you as soon as we can.”
The band are due to head on a tour of Europe and the UK in June, though with many countries in lockdown for the foreseeable future due to coronavirus, it’s yet to be seen whether their scheduled shows will be postponed or cancelled.
Could a new Kings of Leon album be on the way?
