King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard
- What: King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard rave set
- Where: Fed Square Main Stage, Melbourne
- When: 24 October, 7pm–10:30pm
- Free, all ages
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard will perform live, unscripted electronic music using eurorack-modular setups at Fed Square. The psychedelic rock veterans have been known for their genre-hopping tendencies, but this shift into fully modular synthesis territory represents a bold new chapter. This marks the band’s first Melbourne performance in over two years and the Australian debut of their ‘techno’ direction. Berlin-based, Naarm-born DJ and producer Merve opens the evening, bringing her boundary-pushing sound honed across venues from Panorama Bar to Boiler Room.
Moodymann
- What: Moodymann and DJ Jnett
- Where: Fed Square Main Stage, Melbourne
- When: 27 November, 7pm–10pm
- Free, all ages
Moodymann has built his reputation fusing soul, funk, disco and hip hop into deep house sets that remain as unpredictable as they are magnetic. The Detroit icon will be joined by DJ Jnett, whose genre-blurring approach and decades of influence have cemented her status as one of Australia’s most respected selectors. The double bill brings together international electronic royalty with homegrown talent for what promises to be an epic night of house music.
