After an interesting Easter rant to media about how the holiday is “not about a bunny” (der, it’s about chocolate), Justin Bieber has invaded our lives again with something that has nothing to do with music. Instead, he decided that a cameo in a racist sketch about Supermen of different races would be a better idea than – oh, I don’t know – trying to make good music for once.
The unnecessarily long and 100% unfunny sketch was uploaded by Rudy Mancuso, a singer who opened for Bieber’s show in Brazil last year, and begins with an argument between Mancuso, or ‘Hispanic Superman’, and ‘Black Superman’ about ‘SuperJuan’ going back to his ‘own country’ and eating tacos. *pulls collar*
For some reason DJ Alesso gets in on the act as ‘Swedish Superman’ (he’s reportedly business partners with Mancuso, and I assume held to some kind of ransom to do this?), and Bieber finally enters as ‘Canadian Superman’. He’s meant to be ‘too nice’, but instead just delivers each of the supermen racist statements – like ‘I love hommous!’ to the ‘Middle Eastern Superman’.
Ugh. Watch it if you must, below.
Or, read about some actual music here.
