Comedy veteran Julia Wilson hit the scene as a RAW comic in 2002

Comedy veteran Julia Wilson hit the scene as a RAW comic in 2002, subsequently making punters laugh in pubs and clubs on regional tours, international circuits and comedy festivals across four different continents. She’s been all over the media in the process, appearing in or writing for festival galas, Comedy Inc, The Sideshow, Triple M and Triple R.

Artist Greg Parker paints professionally and for fun, initially inspired by experiences in WA’s Karijini National Park and the surrounding tablelands and gorge country of Australia’s North West. His art is imbued with the Pilbara’s powerful magic, but it’s not all serious; in the process, he’s developed a style that utilises brushes, rollers, bark, bamboo, spoons, Vegemite, his fingers, elbows and anything else within reach.

ARTsie fARTsie combines storytelling and speed painting that takes you out of your seat and into another world – from silence to places, predicaments, perceptions and perspectives that’ll make you look through tears of laughter, will enable you to see each blank canvas come to life.

Julia Wilson and Greg Parker perform Julia Wilson And Greg Parker Are ARTsie fARTsie at Fad Gallery from March 30 – April 23. It’s at 9.30pm Tuesday – Saturday. Tickets are $15 – $20 from Ticketmaster online, 1300 660 013 and on the door.
