It will allow JOY to highlight content on the iTunes Store podcast home page as well as provide quick access to the latest JOY content on the Australia and New Zealand iTunes Store.
Along with its 24-hour multimedia World AIDS Day Worldwide project, there are also celebrity interviews, past and present program favourites and exclusive LGBTI community content featured on the Australia and New Zealand iTunes Podcast Store.
All content is free and available to stream and download from the App Store.
The station’s Online Development Manager, Avi Miller said, “JOY is delighted that Apple has recognised our unique and extensive audio library by inviting us to sit alongside such great names in podcasting as the ABC, BBC and NPR. This will allow JOY to reach not just people in Melbourne, but extends our broadcasting to all corners of the globe.”
