Widely acknowledged as a leading exponent of Widor’s organ works, Nolan was recently made a Chevalier in the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (the French equivalent of a knighthood) in recognition of his services to French Music and is a Master of Music at St George’s Cathedral in Perth.
His recordings of the late French organist were released by leading UK classical label Signum Records to universal acclaim and now he’s bringing the works to the Melbourne Town Hall’s prized Grand Organ over five free sessions.
