Icelandic post-rocker Jónsi released his new CD+DVD a couple of days ago, exclusively on his website, and is giving away one of his new tracks as a preview!
The aptly titled New Piano Song can be downloaded now from jonsi.com. It is one of six brand new tracks on his live album/film double pack Go Live, which, as its title suggests, features live versions of all the songs from his 2010 album Go.
The Go Live DVD will show you the very first time Jónsi and his band played the songs from Go in front of an audience – at the final dress rehearsal for the tour in March this year.
Footage of Jónsi playing to a small crowd of people dressed as animals (why animals? I wish I knew!) is interwoven with background interviews and behind-the-scenes clips of the Go tour.
Go Live can be ordered from here and everyone who orders a copy will immediately receive a download of the album, film and extras.
To get your hands on this CD+DVD package in time for Christmas, orders must be placed before Sunday December 5.
