JAZZ: On Thursday, AUGUST 6, 2026 at 7pm, JMQ Jazz Ensemble is delighted to welcome back Jazz legend, REBECCA BARNARD to the welcoming Golden Gate Hotel.
She’ll be joined by saxophonist, Tim Wilson, with Darrin Archer – piano, Tony Floyd – drums, Nick Haywood – double bass and John Montesante-horns. Doors and meals from 6.30pm and live Jazz from 7pm. Entry is $20 on this link.
REBECCA: The name ‘Barnard’ is well-known in the Australian Music & Jazz scene, across three generations, and Rebecca grew up listening to an eclectic mix of music and exposed to the best. While she is best know for her stunning versatility as a songwriter, band-leader and singer, she also revisits her Jazz roots regularly, with those great jazz standards that were a soundtrack to her youth.
TIM is an exceptional saxophonist, composer, band leader and recording artist. With a rich international and local career, Tim has played alongside jazz luminaries and across genres,is a band leader in his own right, and is much in demand . Prepare to be immersed in the world of jazz , when these terrific musicians come together – just for you.
