On Thursday NOV 12, JMQ Jazz Ensemble is delighted to again feature exquisite Jazz singer CLAIRE PATTI with woodwind artist, Tony Hicks at the welcoming Golden Gate Hotel, South Melbourne. They will be accompanied by our stellar JMQ line up: Michael Harding, Nick Haywood, Tony Floyd and John Montesante.
Doors and dinner from 6.30pm, with live Jazz at 7pm.
CLAIRE is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, performer, conductor, teacher and composer. After graduating from the VCA majoring in horn, Claire pursued singing and playing the harp and developing her own sound in her arrangements and compositions. Her passion for singing and playing is closely followed by conducting choirs and ensembles, with a particular penchant for anything a cappella It’s always a joy to present quality artists of her calibre, so you’re in for a treat,
TONY is a veteran woodwind artist, saxophones + flute, who has always been in demand for many bands and has toured internationally for decades- and he also shines as a soloist.. Everyone is welcome.
There is free street parking after 6pm. *As Jazz is upstairs, there is not easy disability access.
