A cinematic instrumental piece by local band Jarek, which meanders at an unhurried pace through twinkling fields of glockenspiel then arcs up in a very seventies, very prog-sounding sprawl of retro sci-fi guitar. Aside from the seemingly dirty title, there are plenty of things to like about Massive Portise – the atmosphere; the warm, organic feel – but it would sit comfortably next to a Vangelis or Tubular Bells record, and that makes me plain uncomfortable.
