Emerging Gold Coast singer-songwriter and beatmaker Jamie Lane has just dropped his new single, celebrating the effortless tango between R&B and electronic music.

‘Fear’ fuses the two idiosyncratic-yet-complimentary genres with ease, and sees Lane look inside, introspective of life’s perpetual uncertainty, his fear of the future and mental illness that has heightened such anxieties.

‘Fear’ comes off the back of a number of popular releases from the burgeoning artist, including his debut release through indie music publisher and label Source Music, ‘Sweet/Bitter’ – a track which has garnered over 100,000 streams following its 2020 release.

With Lane continuing to turn heads with every release he puts out, the music industry is starting to take notice. And so we await Lane’s debut album, set for release sometime in 2021 – a record that will look to continue Lane’s tantalising flow, and take the learnings of his debut EP, 2019’s Minimal Haze, to the next level.
