James Reyne is celebrating 35 years of ‘Reckless’ with a huge Aussie tour

jamesreyne.jpg

It’s been 35 years since James Reyne penned his masterpiece, ‘Reckless’. Something of a defacto national anthem, ‘Reckless’ was originally released by Australian Crawl on their chart-topping ’83 EP Semantics

In case you need a reminder of the lyrics:

Meet me down by the jetty landing / Where the pontoons bump and spray / I see the others reading, standing / As the Manly Ferry cuts its way to Circular Quay”

Pure. Australian. Poetry.
