James Lavelle Returns To Australia

A name that’s synonymous with his infamous label Mo’Wax, started when he was eighteen and home to releases from the likes of Dr. Octagon, DJ Krush, Luke Vibert, and his own act UNKLE, whose debut album with DJ Shadow Psyence Fiction was one of the decade’s most compelling albums, featuring appearances from Badly Drawn Boy, Thom Yorke and Richard Ashcroft. All alongside running club nights with Gilles Peterson and regular appearances at Fabric, too. These days, UNKLE’s still kicking about along with his DJing career, alongside his new independent art, music and fashion project, Surrender All. Busy boy!
