The stage will also bear witness to the incomparable Welsh sensation, Tom Jones. Having conquered hearts worldwide with over 100 million album sales and iconic hits like It’s Not Unusual and Sex Bomb, Tom Jones is making a triumphant return to the Bluesfest scene, after last gracing its stage in 2016.

Not to be outdone, Australian treasures The Teskey Brothers are making a return by popular demand, after their awe-inspiring performance in 2022. Their soul-drenched take on rock, folk, and blues has cemented them as a festival favorite, and their upcoming appearance is guaranteed to ignite the stage.

But wait, there’s more! The lineup reads like a musical odyssey, featuring the likes of Elvis Costello & The Imposters, L.A.B., Peter Garrett & The Alter Egos, Tommy Emmanuel, The Dead South, The Paper Kites, and a triumphant return of Drive-by Truckers after a 15-year hiatus from the festival.

The announcement also highlights the rising stars that are set to leave their mark on the Bluesfest stage. The 14-year-old blues guitar prodigy Taj Farrant, who has already gained global recognition and a massive social media following, will showcase his incredible talents. And Finnish sensation Erja Lyytinen, hailed as one of the leading blues-rock guitarists on the international circuit, is set to make her mark with her electrifying performances.

Boasting a concoction of legendary maestros and emerging sensations, this milestone edition is primed to outshine all expectations.

“These incredible artists are just the beginning: there is much more to come! Bluesfest 2024 will continue to announce exceptional artists throughout the year and in the lead-up to the festival.” “Those attending can look forward to fantastic music, stellar performances, and memories that will last a lifetime,” Festival Director Peter Noble OAM says.
