Parsons has been involved with Triple R since 2006. She hosted the Australian music show Local And Or General and Saturday night music show Dynamite, before tackling talks content with Wednesday morning’s Detour. Returning for 2014 are regular segment hosts Sean ‘The Birdman’ Dooley, Thomas Caldwell with film, Melbourne Uni’s Mike Pottenger talking everyday economics, Ginger Briggs and Tony Biggs with books, Georgia Webster’s language segment, and Henry Wagons taking on the arts world. According to Triple R, “Jeff Sparrow from Overland still brings the smarts each week and Dave Lawson will keep doing whatever it is that guy does.”
